American Landscaping and Maintenance has been serving the area since 2022. Founded by Don Hesseltine, American Landscaping and Maintenance provides landscaping and maintenance services to the Quad Cities. I am a jack of all trades kind of guy who started off working as an IT Field Support technician, to later joining the Army, where I would serve a combat tour in Afghanistan as a designated marksman with the 34th ID. After the army I wasn't down for the everyday shenanigans of office work so I decided I would work in the construction field doing all sorts of things from carpentry, plumbing and anything else where I could use my hands to fix or build something.

With my love of the outdoors and my meticulous work ethic, it was time for me to move on and start up a business that would reflect my values. I had grown tired of seeing people getting taken advantage of and getting shotty work done for an above average price because the company was only in it for the dollar and not for doing what’s right to the customer. I strive to be the best at what I do and have a sense of pride in a job well done and a job done right...the first time!
